Buzz other than draining the oil out regularly I dont believe there is any maint necessary. Check for any leaks around the fittings, and drain oil. If it suddenly had no oil in it I would be concerned. If the check valve failed I would expect it leak around the fittings if it could not breathe. The hose are just pushed on, the pressure involved is fairly low I believe with venting crankcase gasses and vapors

Hey guys.. Great question. I do not believe we have a set life expectancy on them. I can tell you that if you or anyone else ever has one fail just drop us a line we'll pop one in the mail free of charge.

Since we have a behind the scene view of things I can tell you RX stands behind their products 100%. Product issues are few and far between but when they do occur they take care of business.

Checkvalves should last the life of the engine, but in the event there is an issue we always have them in stock.
Thanks Chase! |

i was talking with a guy today about catch cans and was wondering if anybody has changed out that metal fitting that goes into the valve cover for an AN fitting instead of just drilling that piece out because especially for the turbo guys it would help relieve more crankcase pressure.

Yes, that is common with the Monster cans. You can remove the fixed orfice barb and drill and tap to accomidate or can weld in a bung.
