Front licence plate
Is anyone else stuck with the front license plate because of their states law? I hate it

I should start just copying and pasting this for all of these post lol. BUT anyways...I am an LEO in Ohio and I refuse to put a front plate on my beautiful car. Yes it is a law but an unnessessary one. It is not very enforced here. I will not pull someone over for it unless I am looking for an excuse to pull someone over bc I feel they are drunk/drugs etc.

Here in California they require front license plates, but I also refuse to drill and put it on.

New York its also the law but I've never had any issues yet. 2009-2012 with 1LT/RS, then traded up to 2SS/RS 45th this year and still no problems. These models shouldn't even have front plates as a option.

No law against slicing it down a bit and making it fit where it's not so obtrusive....luckily it's the same color scheme as the car so it doesn't stand out as much.

I bought mine brand new with no front plate. When I went to pick it the next day I was furious because they put a front plate on it. I wish I had thought to tell them not to drill into my poor car. I plan on taking mine off and maybe getting bumper plugs to cover the holes until I feel like having an body shop do it right. I'll take my chances with the coppers.

I CANNOT STAND FRONT PLATES!!! I know FOR A FACT I will be harassed endlessly around here if I didn't!
Virginia is the worst state in the union when it comes to traffic laws! Everything is illegal, for real! And as if that is not enough, in VA, cops go around measuring blades of grass with a ruler, citing people for it!

Technically, front plates are required in my state too, but only if there is a place to mount one. my front plate mount is still sitting in my trunk. i refuse to even think about installing it.

I haven't had front plates on my Camaro for the last 2 years that i owned it. Although, I have been pulled over 3 times and finally decided to throw it on. Doesn't help when i have a bright blue car on the road, i never speed and my car certainly doesn't scream DRUG DEALER... So i gave in :( I just zip tied it to the bottom grille and cushioned the crap out of it.

Its a law here too in TX. They can fine me all they want. Its not going on the car. I came from AZ where we didnt need front plates. Thats a place if any, that should have them. They have cameras on every street corner. Ive never seen 1 in TX. No clue why its needed here.
