New SS owner from Upstate SC - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi everyone. I bought a 2SS/RS almost a month ago. My wife and I are really enjoying the car. I've been a Camaro fan for a long time with mg first being a 1998. Sadly it wasn't a v8 car. So, we started looking for a 2000-2002 and just couldn't find a nice car that wasn't asking an outrages price. That's what led to the 2011 SS. My wife seen the car and within a week I went to pick it up.

So, are there any clubs or meets or autox events that happen around Spartanburg/Greenville areas?

Hope to see some of the other upstate owners around.

You guys should come on down to Road Atlanta and participate in our Camaro Corral at the Grand Am Race on 4/19 - 20/13. Check out our thread here in the Southeast Region forum for all the details, and let me know if you are interested or have any questions.

Quick questions. I might have missed them while looking at the other thread. What day will the parade lap be on? What is being planned for Sat? The wife and I are def planning on being there Saturday. Wife is having to work Fri.

Hoping to be there on 4/20 for East Coast Shootout, but will have to wait and see how far the build gets done. I will be at Rockingham a few times later this year for Civil Wars and HPJ.
