Stock cam specs

I was just wondering what the stock cam specs are on an LS3 and if an LS3 cam could be used in an LS1 block?

The answer to question 1 is in the a sticky for the cam basics. Answer 2 I don't know.

Does anyone know if this cam will work in a 5.3 or LS1?

i don't see why it wouldn't work in an ls1 or 5.3, both are ls based blocks.

Don't think it will work with the ls1 cam sensor and uses a different sprocket. Gen IV's have the sensor on the timing cover, and are a single bolt cam.

An LS3 cam should work in the current 5.3. They are both IV Gen engines based on the LS block. I don't think it will on an LS1, because its a gen III motor. I would go with a LS6 camshaft and valve springs for the LS1. Or go aftermarket.
