It might be my eyes playing tricks on me..or a funny trick on the tape..
but I can see the "ARGE" lettering in that..which leads me to thing that it doesnt say Camaro at all..but indeed says SUPERCHARGED |

I believe that GM/Chevy is looking at the big picture for the Z/28. It will be a limited production car that will be on par with the 2011 GT 500 selling in the same price range. Pictures of the prototype testing with the GT 500 definitely shows they are not afraid of going head to head. I do not believe that any of us would be upset owning a 575HP Z/28 with a five year warranty. As the Z/28 goes forward, there will be improvements in horsepower and handling because Ford and Dodge will be doing the same thing. This will continue until the government or the insurance companies clamp down on the horsepower race. Until then, enjoy the ride in whatever car you desire and hope that the Mayan's were wrong with their 2012 world ending prediction.

lmao.
it doesnt say supercharged. it says "Z28 Camaro" on the side of the car. if you zoom in on the tape, and look Veeeeeery carfully you can see the O from "Camaro" as the last letter under the tape. and if you look even more carefully you can see a garish-blockletter Z as the very first letter under the tape. I will see if i can do some photochop work to show what i mean... while you wait for me to do my photochop -- the Z looks very similar to this one: (no im not joking...stare at the enlarged "blacked out" image...you'll see what im talking about)

Great news! So are we assuming GM is going to take into account that Ford will probably up the ante on their 2012 GT500? I mean, thanks to this and other Camaro sites, Ford certainly knows what GM is using as a benchmark, so I doubt they would just let the Z28 claim any top-dog ponycar status without a fight.
In any case, it great for us consumers! |

I'm pretty sure under the tape says supercharged... it seems too short in height to say camaro. Oh and O's and D's look substantially the same when compressed like that. ;-)

well it looks like a new GT500 is 50k, so id say the Z28 will be 3-5k more than that.

I hope they don't plaster supercharged, motor size and all that jazz all over this car. All they need is Z/28. That's enough to prove you mean business.
