I bit the bullet... I went from LLT V6 to L99 V8 just yesterday...BEST DECISION EVER!!Where would you have something like this done?I'm a big fan of 'no chrome' and will probably steal some of your mods for my own :p

I just found a local powdercoater in the area. They just happen to work right next door to a body shop. They powdercoated the wheels then took them over to have the IOM stripe done.

Update: My Whipple sits up really high in the engine bay, and actually rubs into the liner. I wasn't really actively searching for a hood, but one of our fellow C5 members gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. This is the ACS SS9 sleeper hood. It's the same hood that Lingenfelter uses on their builds, except it doesn't have the plexiglass window (which I didn't want anyway). The cowl sits a little taller, so I'll be able to do something really cool inside.

It's now being painted and should go on before the fest. Here are some shots of it unpainted and some others I found online. I didn't find many of the sleeper, so I had to Photoshop the plexiglass window out.

You are so full of crap... j/k

You would have bought a new hood if the little girl down the road suggested it. Face it, you have been inflicted with the "Camaro Virus"
No known cure other than go with it...

BTW - The hood does look really good !
