Need Cold Air Inductions CAI info

I wanted to see more pics and get more info on pricing for the CAI's CAI. Their site is only showing replacement filters and no real pics of it installed.

Anyone know how much the LS3 system is going to cost and does anyone have any pics of one installed?

Ok....just got off the phone with CAI about their system so I told them I would post up some info to help cut down on their phone calls.

First off...more pics and info here:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47359

Cost for the 6.2L version is $399.99 + Shipping. They are running a special at the moment for 10% off the first run. Call them soon if you want it.

Their web site was in the process of being converted over and of course got behind and now he is having a couple issues he is trying to work through. Keep trying back...he is working on the site and answering the phone all at the same time.

I asked about the washer bottle and if it had to be removed or relocated. The answer is No. The box goes around it. To fill the washer fluid you just twist off the 3 screws and remove the lid. Easy access.

I also asked if there would be any different top offerings. I personally like a more solid top that could be painted to match the color of the car. Similar to what was done with ADM's box. I recommended that he look at offering a different top with his logo so they can be customized but it sounds like that won't be happening. At least not for a while if at all.

The clear top would be a good place for a decal of your choosing.

Just so everyone knows... I placed my order minutes ago, using the promo code and used their online shopping cart through the entire progress.

I didn't have any problems with the order process. My price was $373 with ground shipping included. I made a point of mentioning the Jannetty "shoot out" in my comments on the order as well.

I'll be posting a complete install video upon arrival. I hope I get one of the first to ship!!

I'm strongly thinking about having the box painted custom by my painter along with the rest of the engine dress up I'm planning.

i know this sounds kinda dumb, but couldn't you use like window tint (diff colors and whatnot) and match the lid that way?

Hmmm.....that's a thought. Of course it should be able to be painted as well.

Wow, you dug up one old thread! The $399 is a silver ceramic coated system and the $449 is black powder coated.
