Plastidip rear blackout?
Can i see some pics of the rear blackouts made with plastidip? And how did you cover the rear emblem when you did it? Did you cover the emblem alone with tape?

You could just plastidip the whole thing and then peel the dip off of the bowtie... that would be the easy way

Clean really well with alcohol. Make sure it's 60°+ outside and keep the dip bottles warm too. I do 4-5 coats first 2 are light. Keep pretty close to the car. The last coat is pretty heavy. The closer you are the better but you need to be careful of runs. It can run btw. I usually wait 30-40 mins before the next coat. The last coat peel the tape off as soon as you are down spraying to get a nice crisp line. If you wait the dip dries to the tape and it will pull up with the tape. This spring I'm going to dip the entire car matte clear. So it will end up being a matte orange. I got a graco hvlp for that though. I recommend searching for dipyourcar on you tube too.

Plastidip is pretty forgiving. Remember the first coat will have about 50% transparency, wait about an hour then spray about every 20 minutes as many layers that you want. The more layers you put the easier it will be to remove (I recommend 4-5). Generally it dries pretty smooth. I haven't tried the glossifier but the black/white does at least. It would probably be easier to just tape around your lights, and paint over the bow tie, Allow it to dry completely then peel the dip off of the bow. There are a ton of videos on youtube
