The capabilities of a modern V6 is amazing. You can pull 30MPG, mid/low 14s in the 1/4 mile in a somewhat heavy platform, solid reliability, ect. A set of gears, a good 60ft. time, and some driving skill and 13's are a sure thing. A nice alternative to a V8 unlike in the past when any V6 version of a ponycar was a boat anchor at best.

13.51@100.81mph tonight at Temple/Academy Raceway here in Texas. I'll post the slip tomorrow, but if I had the rev-limiter raised just a hair more I'd be giving Rod a run on the bolt-on list. Either I ride the rev-limiter through the lights or shift to fourth.

Great seeing you out there again, BaylorAF.

Negative DA? Wow.

e85 and I really need to get off my butt and email Vince about raising the 3rd gear rev-limiter.
Worst 60-ft tonight was a 1.97, best was a 1.94.

Only got 3-runs in(track stoppages). After looking at what the DA did, I wish I'd stuck around for another run but they had a serious oil-down/stoppage for clean-up.

Good seeing/chatting with you, what was the DA during our runs?

After tonight I'm fully convinced that I need some DR's. 60 foot time of 2.1 doesn't cut it, and then when it gets colder I start getting even worse 60 foot times

The only time I was able to go up against usa1 tonight. Thankfully his missing a gear made it a good race

He's in the left lane and I'm in the right.

As you can see from the drag strip drag radials really help out with 60 foot times.... Time to invest I think!

What tires are you on? And auto or manual?

Nittos and it's a manual.

We had 60° weather when we got there and it dropped to 50 when we ran last. I was pretty happy about my 60ft times and my reaction times.

I am running 8.8 in the 1/8 with perilli Rosso:

Soft as warm butter so they won't last long - but they are street able. Just a thought....

Hmm I think you can get those 60ft down even more I feel like I could cut 1.8s-1.85s on nittos if I could pull a 2.0 in the P zeros. Nice run though regardless.

Im going this coming weekend if all goes well. Vararam, 1LT 18s + whatever tires I end up getting and cut outs on stock exhaust. Shooting for a 13.5 run myself.
