My concern would be if I would be safe in an unfortunate crash where I`m upside down like I experienced in this Stealth.

I'm guessing (& hoping) the A pillar is reinforced.

The aftermarket sport bars are only for appearance.

If it's your time to leave this earth then it's your time. I had a friend that was worried that if his car was ever submerged the power door locks wouldn't work and he would drown. You can't worry about everything and besides, what are the odds of you flipping another car in your lifetime! Live it up!!

I'm fine without it because the appearance is elongated.

WARNING slightly off-topic:
Good thing this guy wasn't in a 'vert. Happened near my house in the wind storms. Guy pulls into a parking space and...told you that Chipolte stuff would kill ya lol (He's OK BTW). http://www.cbsnews.com/news/chipotle...-driver-in-it/ Last edited by MLL67RSSS; 04-05-2016 at 06:13 AM. |

That's some great third world construction there...good thing it landed on a disposable car.

According to the article he had just opened the door and turned/ducked his head and was beginning to exit the car so the roof smacked him in the back of the head as it was crushed. They feel the outcome would have been different if he'd been sitting upright in the seat.
From link above: "Just kind of clicked my door to get out and just kind of grabbed the wheel to get out of the car," he said. "And next thing I knew, I was on the pavement, and didn't really know what happened." "Luckily, I was ducking down," Ford said. "The impact was on the back of my head, so it kind of just pushed me out of the car." After seeing pictures and video of the damage to his car, Ford now agrees with several witnesses that if he had been sitting upright in his driver's seat, he probably would have been killed by the falling sign. |
