Ford has plenty of paint colors including a bright blue. GM doesn't because bright blues don't sell and it's too expensive to have a lot of colors.

The whole color issue has been beat to death, and both the Mustang and the Camaro are offered in nine colors.

note: The Camaro is actually offered in ten colors if you count the new blue for the Hot Wheels edition, which will likely be available on all models next model year.

As for the Z, I wish we were informed sooner rather than later as I'm getting ready to order a 1LE. I could hold off 1 more year if I knew for sure what was coming. In any case, I plan on ordering soon, which will likely prompt you guys to get the good news we have been eagerly awaiting. Just my luck! ; )

ha ha well no one is gonna know till at least 6 months away from release if in fact it will be released. That is how they sell cars, and they would expect a lot SS and possibly V6 owners to trade in their cars and buy new ones. If they were to say today that a 2015 MY run would have a badged Z/28 in it, a lot of prospective buyers would wait on their purchases till then and current sales would suffer.

Buy the 1LE. I'm not holding my breath for a Z/28 any time soon. Who knows if we will ever see a Z/28 again.

I think the 1LE is as close as we're gonna get to a Z28. Which is by no means a compromise!

We will see but I'm not keeping my hopes up. GM won't put a performance Corvette motor in the Camaro.
