one year anniversary and shes gone =/

I had just paid my 1 year anniversary lease payment on her and while I was on my way home an elder driver had a medical problem at the wheel and crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic and I was the unlucky one to stop her.

At the body shop now and getting a quote tomorrow. At first glance I think its close to total loss but I dunno. The wheels are not parallel to each other so there is definitely suspension damage. Surprisingly enough no windows were broken. Even the driver side thats down in the picture lol.

The worst part about it all... I put down 6k at signing :(

Wow, that looks like quite the collision. You are not hurt at all?

I don't know how this kind of thing works in the US, but hope everything turns in your favour.

Glad to hear that everyone involved survived. Personally I would call it a total loss

Where is the damage that little dent there?

Make sure to get the control arms checked.

guesstimating, maybe around 20 maybe 25k in damage. door, quarter panel, fender, both wheels, hood, rear bumper, side skirt is gone+any suspension damage labor and paint...quarter panel has to be cut out and re welded in most cases.

Sad to see/hear about it, but while getting her fixed/replaced is a hassle, it could have been a helluva lot worse!

I just cried a little inside about the car and especially the 6k you had put down. But it'll buff right out!

Sorry that happened to you. Be happy you arent in FL where we are a "No Fault" state. Hopefully insurance works this out for you quickly.
