Her first wax!

So I picked up my 2SS/RS this past December from Anna aka Little_Bank_Robber from Sparta Chevrolet and haven't really been able to pamper her the way I do most of my cars. Yesterday, it was around a beautiful 50 degrees for a change here in Michigan so my girlfriend and I took a ride to the local wash bay and went to work. After 4k miles of winter driving I was pleasantly surprised when all I found was but one very very small rock chip on the hood, practically unnoticeable.

Anyway, figured I'd post some pics. Used Meguiar's wash and Tech Wax, uploaded my two favorite pics.

Time for me to get photoshopping and make a desktop background!

Ps: Still have my Scorpion Ice & Snow tires on hah.

looks good.

ive had mine since early october.
i wax it once a month

and yesterday, i waxed it and clay barred it.

black requires very special attention.

detailing with microfiber, polishing, waxing, sealing, clay barring. i live in L.A. I will clay bar my car 4 times a year.

Wax it once a month.

Black, Yellow, and Red always require this type of care in order to minimize swirl marks!

hand polish once or twice a year. Stay away from polishing or buffing with the machine too much/often (unless you absolutely have to)

if you do that, your paint will love you and your car will look blacker, shinier, smoother, longer!

ehh, okay I guess, lol. Very nice. I wanted black but as picky as I can get (wife has pointed out to me) I think I would live in the garage!
