Then you don't actually use computers the way they're meant to be used.

Uh.... but I run my whole business on my PCs. Maybe I just got so used to the problems that I don't even know they are problems?

Maybe I'll try this '7' that you guys speak of. How do I do it without having to buy it?

That's great to hear....however, trust me......if you like Vista....You'll LOVE 7.

edit...not so sure it would be business ready to swap out for your daily ops of the biz!
You should simply try it on possibly your own home system!

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win.../download.aspx

The release candidate is free. It won't be "final" until fall.

I use Vista on my work machines and used to run it at home until Win7 took over. I like Vista but I can see SOME of the reasons people hate on it (most of it is baseless). Win7 is just a notch above and takes care of those gripes. It's a solid, well rounded OS.

Well, my business stuff isn't teribly complicated. Excell, Word, and QB Online, along with Outlook for our Calendar and appointments, synced through Mobile Me with Apple. But I'll check it out. I sure would like to do less moving and organizing of files as far as music and video are concerned. Anytime I load from a device it has default programs that it sets them in and I have to manualy move them and when I try to change defaults it allways reverts back for some reason.

In your opinion, is it worth switching if Vista doesn't really bother me?

I don't do as much as far as networking and such as I'm sure you do. I'm really am still a computer idiot. I've done most stuff but I only do some things when I need to and never remember what I did to make it work. lol

Probably not. The RC is free but will expire (stop working) in about a year so you'd have to go back to Vista or go to the final Win7 at that time. Doesn't sound like you have the want/need to do this
