Looks great and my pleasure......my next step is to get the Quantum backing plates and route from the ducts to the back of the rotor. The temp here have put all projects on hold.

Our Brembos already come with these. I use the stock one when I switch to my Hawks on track days. They must work since Brembo decided to include them.

I'll be darned, only have 500 mi on my 14 and haven't pulled the pads yet, good to know, thx. Sure it wasn't a aluminum plate that is soft enough to keep brake noise down?

Positive they're not aluminum, but not 100% sure they titanium, but too thin and strong to be anything else.

I do think they are titanium - they don't sound like stainless steel when you handle them and "ping" them.

Here are pics of my spare front ones:

Ordered my Quantum backing plates yesterday. I will update the thread when I route the current inlets to the Quantum Ducts.

I have a 2014, there is extra space around the fog light, I'm thinking about buying a second set of the plate, drill 3" hole or add a preformed duct to it making it ready to mount to the duct and swap them out for track weekends. Zip tie the light harness in place etc.. I need to see how much work it will be to swap them out.

The fog light area is larger but I am still using the location more toward the center. Afterall, the OP "had coffee with the High Performance Brake Engineer at GM that worked with the brake system and he told me not to grab the air from the fog light openings (remove lights) as it was warmer and more turbulent out there." This seems like a simpler installation than messing around with fog lights and special brackets for them.

I also ordered these instead of the Quantum kit for about 30% of the cost. However I may need to modify them, not sure yet. Every penny I save on this goes to my CTS-V upgrade in summer.

correct.....To back it up the chief design engineer told me the same thing during a different conversation. "Pick up the cold air for brakes in the lower grille area"

Those are definitely a cheaper alternative.....Keep us updated on how they work.
