Talking Top 5 easy DIY's

I'm looking for a fun project to do to my camaro, something that can be done with supplies from local stores. What are some of the DIY's you guys have done that made a big impact to you?

Vinyl bow tie covers. You can do any color you like. Go to a local sign shop and you can probably get the color you want for free if they have a small piece of scrap, or if you do do buy some, its dirt cheap. Go buy an exacto knife and your on your way. Just may have to use a hair dryer or heat gun for the front bowtie if you have any bubbling issues.

For me the easiest things I've done so far are:

Paint my taillight bezels

Paint my GFX exhaust bezels

Remove bowties and replace with Sparks SS emblems

Instal havoc stripes

Plastidip front bumper under the grill

Instal vinyl mailslot blackout

ABL LED dome and trunk light install and once I overcame my fear of ripping out interior panels and splicing wires - ABL footwell lighting.

Foot well lighting was actually pretty easy. I did have to order LEDs online, but they arrived here pretty quick - like a couple days after ordering.

I used pre-wired ones from oznium.com, using the adhesive backing for the front lights, and actually ended up sewing them under the seats with a needle and thread for the rear (I went through a couple different types of adhesive, but they all came off...). I only used 1 LED for each foot well, and wired them following the instructions in the DIY.

My opinion,

2.) SMD Sidemarkers.
4.) Footwells.
1.) Long Tube Headers
5.) Drop Springs
3.) Short Throw Shifter

Mixed em up for you in random order....lol

Sparks makes them. Quite a few online retailers sell them, Sparks, West Coast Camaro, Chevy Online store, etc...

I think the SMD sidemarkers (Painted) are the best looking simple DIY. After that a supercharger .
