2012 Transformers Edition
Hey all! So I've been in touch with a couple people trying to find out how we can know how many 2012 Transformers have been produced, and then find out where in sequence those of us with that model might be. Becky and a few friends who I've asked said they don't have the stats to be able to tell how many have been produced and thus which number our cars might be. SO... as was apparently done for the 2010 Pace Car, we can start keeping track here!
We may not get everyone, but at least we'll have everyone from the site. So if you have the 2012 Transformers Edition Camaro, go ahead and post the last 6 digits of your VIN# and I will start a list and organize them numerically as we get more. Thanks!!! (sorry if this isn't the right forum area, please move it if necessary! thanks mods )

The last go around, they were able to give a number after the year run. They were only able to break it down to model type. If I remember correctly mine was one of 580 (2SS/LS3) ...

Nope, sorry they didn't track them that close. You will be lucky to find out total produced and if real lucky a model break down ... And you friends-friend is talking BS ... All we got was the window sticker with the TFE option code.

Unless i am wrong the CTH (Transformer) are Limited production not limited edition which means they are produced for a limited time unlike limited edition which are a very specific number produced. That is the main reason they can give no production numbers till the end of the year because they don't actually know until production ends. Also CTH is an add-on like RS to an assembly line car. I know i have like 1 of the 1784 2010s made and it can be broke to whatever number was 2ss then A6 but never much lower than that.
Hope this helps more than confuses Here is a link to the 2010 Transformer #'s http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89898

Would have been easier to determine in 2010 since all VINs were Camaros. Now that other models are made on the same line it's harder to follow the sequence.

well that's why i'm trying to get folks with them on here to get a list going - we may not get ALL of them, but might be cool to know.
