Thinking of taking a break from the forum

I feel the forum is starting to lose the friendly factor it had for so long. There are too many that call others names. Too many posts where the poster is just making a post in a thread because they know it will start an argument, very uncool.

I have found myself lately posting things then later deleting them after having a chance to think about it. And that bothers me. I hate being negative or critical, but I find myself getting that way reading some of the posts people have been making.

Sometimes certian people have posted someting (usually someone that tends to post the same negative post every chance they get) and I really want to tell them what I think of them. Before I say something to someone that will get me banned I feel it may be best to take a break on my own.

Ya there is a great wealth of information on here, but it is pretty easy to get torn apart on here too. I have found myself doing a ton of reading and not much posting.

Angrybird you will be missed on here, but i agree sometimes a break from the forums is needed. Sometimes we need more drive time in our awesome cars and less time on our computers. Either way, take care.

I've been here since 2007, and it just seems like in the last year there are a bunch of people here that just want to cause trouble. I love to exchange knowledge I have learned since owning two Camaros since the first of 2010.
I feel sorry for the Moderators on here, I know their job is not easy and many don't understand their function is to try to keep this forum a fun friendly place to exchange information and ideas. And the forum is not somewhere you can just post anything with no consequences.

Report that stuff. I'll clean it up.

And for the record, I love this community, so I want to keep it awesome. Give me more trolls to ban!

Good for you Bird. I just don't take anything seriously or personal. I control my subscriptions carefully esp when the nonesense picks up. Otherwise, it's a good source of information and references...everything else is rather trivial if you think about it. Don't take a break, just narrow your parameters and ignore the bullshit. You don't seem the sensative type... Stick around!

People have split personalities online don't take it to heart. A break can be refreshing.

That's what happens on a popular forum... people come to cause trouble. I'm sure some is intentional and some isn't, however, I just try to ignore it because I feel that this place is my home on the web.

I am sure as the weather gets nicer (today it was sunny and 74) my wife and I will be out more enjoying the top down driving we have loved since we got Angrybird last June.

There is a lot of busters on this forum now. I really found myself looking on here less.
