The sad part about you guys waiting is I could go tomorrow and get a blk 2ss with $5,000 off the price of the car and have a $600 dollar monthly payment. But if i wasn't closing on a house this week I would reallyyyyyyyyy think about it. I feel for the guys who have been waiting forever I can hardley wait and I try to get through each day without driving my wife insane.LOL

3300 seems to be a totally random date. I keep trying to determine if there is any rhythm or reason to be at 3300 but there doesnt appear to be any. some people take a couple of days to go from 3000 to 3300 and some people take almost a month. Not sure whats going on but its almost like a lottery draw and some come out winners and some dont.

R6P folks have waited for long enough GM!!! Build early orders before any new dealer orders regardless of allocation. Stop treating your most loyal customers so unfairly!!!

I moved to 3300 on 5/21. Seems like a bunch of us may be built around the same time.

Same boat here, #1 allocation and ordered 1-20,still at 3000. I am at a small dealer that is on the list. I have not checked in two weeks because I get the feeling my delaer is sick of me and it seems inappropriate to bug them when they have bigger issues. Given thier circumstance not sure they even check my order status

your wait is coming to an end.........the average 3000 wait seems to be about a month..................

even though you won't get a realy early VIN, you'll still have the R6P code that will be worth $$$$$ down the rode...................i know, probably doesn't help.

But Buff Whelan has received very few of the cars they have ordered. A lot of them were in the range of my #3958 (which they already resold after I cancelled my order a couple weeks ago) and they sold a lot of SS cars.....so they're all in Area 51 including my original order. They were advertising 20 openings on their next allocation in the newspaper last week.

Wow. I hope any surprises I get are good ones like yours! Mind if I ask when you hit 3300?

this isn't my order. it's the exact same thing, but was just sitting for sale at College Chevy in Michigan. so the wife and i drove over and picked it up.

it was built on the 5th of May, is VIN 7553 and is a R6P code! all for GMS to boot..........they have a yellow 2SS RS auto in transit for sale too if anyones interested. ask for Thomas.

Again, your dealer is looking in the wrong place if they are seeing 3800. The system IS updated regularly

For those that are not aware of the order process:

If your order is 2000 event code or higher, allocation means nothing to you. Allocation ONLY determines when an order goes from 1100 to 2000. All this talk about allocation being responsible for your order sitting at 3000 does not make sense.
