Anyone else think it a bitch to get the hoses on the barbs? I was so paranoid I didn't get them slipped on far enough, I used hose clamps.

That's why I bought the braided hose that had the fittings already attached, made things a lot easier and was worth the extra cost.

I have the braided lines too. But, you still need to connect them as normal at the intake/crankcase, and getting them on was a bear. I also had to replace the check valve, so I had the added challenge of getting the braided lines over the new valve's barbs.
As a matter of a fact, I assumed it was worse for the braided, since the nylon would naturally resist the rubber when it tried to expand. I got it on . . . with a heat gun. Added the clamps for piece of mind. |

I had more difficulty getting the factory pcv line off then the putting the new hose on the barbs. Took me a bit to figure out how to undo the clips.

The new hose was a little hard to slide on so I think its tight enough, but I'm gonna put a couple clamps on today just to be sure.
The whole install was much easier than I thought. After reading the install instructions from RX I was confused with all the cutting but again Camaro5 saves me. Thanks guys |
