I will fit perfectly with your 1LE combination. Please feel free to call, email or PM us anytime with questions.

You know I reread my earlier post. Didn't Rotofab come out with an adapter for the ZL1 ducts and a scoop?

They have a weird adjustable diversion flap but the ZL1 ducts don't go where you need them to for max cooling so its kind of a waste.

Where is the best spot? I'm thinking I will eventually end up with T3 ports and figured I would pull from those...

Center of the rotor towards the hub and using the rotor vanes the way they were supposed to. The ZL1 duct doesn't get close enough to the right area.

But in your opinion that would be a good spot to attach the hose if you were to run this JDP kit?

Would need to see how to route the hose from there, its more directly in front of the tire, but air from the front end is good wherever you decide to take it from.

Yeah I didn't consider that it is directly in front of the tire.

Not that I am aware of. The ZL1 rectangular duct would require something fabbed out of aluminum to 2.5 or 3 round. I doubt there is enough room to route that.

Take a look at the photos below. I used the Quantum Backing Plates and 3" hose. I routed over the top of the tie rod/rack and pinion unit and over the top of the front suspension mount on the frame then down into the air inlets installed behind the lower grill. There is a splash guard between the suspension mounts that you'll have to remove one of the plastic fasteners on to route the hose between the frame and the splash guard. This routing results in no rubbing on a 1LE. I have done two track days at Watkins Glen with this setup with no issues.
