Just ordered one from RDP. I debated for a long time between that and a Cold Air Induction but the guy from RDP said the tube on the CAI gets really hot and there are some cars who get more gain on the Cold Air Induction, and some on the Rotofab. We'll see. Can't wait! My first mod wooot !

We recommend the oiled filter. They flow better and will last longer. The issues you have heard of with Oil on the MAF are from over-oiling when servicing the filter.
Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions! Best regards, Tyler 888-308-6007 |

This. Since oiled filters use the oil to trap the dust it allows the media/mesh to be slightly larger allowing for more airflow. If a CAI is the only mod on the car, either filter will perform fine. With that said, those of you planning additional mods (exhaust, cam, FI etc..) I highly recommend the oiled filter. The dry filters are easier to maintain/service however, so in the end, it comes down to personal preference. Both filter types are guaranteed to last the life of your car.
