Now that I halfway ripped off the rubber rock sorta splitter today. What would you do to repair or replace.

If I get an aftermarket splitter can I just remove the rubber one or does it have a function?

What splitter would you recommend.

See the picture of the temporary tie wrap so I can still drive till I remove it all the way.
