Track Day in Talladega, AL
Hi,
A group of us from work and friends are renting the Talladega Gran Prix road course on Nov 5th. We have 12 cars but would like to get three more. I'll be bringing my ZL-1. We occasionally have a guy with a race-modified 4th gen Camaro that's wicked fast. It would be nice to have another Camaro there if anyone is interested. The cost is $160 and you need a helmet. You can PM me for details. Here's some info on the track: http://www.tgprace.com/I've had great fun at this track before. It's not too slow like autocross and not too fast like Road Atlanta. If you're interested, please let me know. thanks, Michael |

I have run this course several times at the MTI Racing Funfest. This course is REALLY HARD on Brakes so make sure you upgrade your brake fluid to race brake fluid such as Motul 600 or another type. It is a short course with sharp turns and it will cause brake pedal fade within a couple of laps. Probably should get some upgraded brake pads as well.
Good Luck, Have Fun and BE SAFE !! |

I wish I could do it but that monday is a school day. :( I Have been to TGPR before as said above. Expect and be ready for your brakes to fade. By the 3 lap my brake pedal hit the floor with very little slowing force. But a very fun course. 112mph Max on the straight hit the brakes and a hairpin into the last 2 turns
