just so you know, the RS is an appearance package. it does not mean it's a V6. you can have an SS/RS.

I never heard a mean sounding V6. I think she's out of luck.

Just because you haven't doesn't mean there isn't. Ill get a sound clip I got rid of the ghost cam so I can't show off the amazing lope that it had, but the superchager makes up for it

I am told once a week that my V6 sounds GREAT.

Here is a clip of me at the track.

My god, if that were true I'd be at a dealer writing a check out RIGHT NOW.

[QUOTE=IBM camaro;6553960]Yes this combination is very aggressive and low tone and not raspy. I have a supercharged 6 making close to 500 crank hp go with OBX long tube headers, flow master axle back, and you must add the magma flow resonated x pipe to remove drone. If I didn't tell people mine was a v6 most wouldn't know I've been to tons of meets and shows at idle with the trifecta ghost cam. It sounded more aggressive than a stock 8.[/

I guess you didn't state what year she is driving. First off MRT V2.0 would be my choice also as I love mine. Now, you didn't mention what year, 2010-2011 you could add headers but I can't tell you what the added sound would be. Okay with that said, 2012 LFX engine you can't add headers since they are integrated into the head but you can swap out the catalytic converters for Solo's HFC's. For me it was a hard decision because of cost but I did add them and still have seconds thoughts on the cost of them. But, they do add a slightly deeper tone at idle and a more aggressive sound when you are hard on the throttle. I would start with the V2.0's first and if money is no object and she wants a more aggressive sound then headers or HFC's. JMO.

Dean.
