45th Anniversary Camaro Special Edition?

So everyone has been so excited for the z28 (rightfully so) i havent heard much about a 45th Anniversary Special Edition? So has there been any word on this? How does everyone feel about this idea? What will/would it look like if/when it comes out?

1992 25th Anniversary Special Edition

1997 30th Anniversary Special Edition

2002 35th Anniversary Special Edition

technically would it be less years since the gap from 2002 to 2010 is 8 years? 2010 would be the 36th year? If i am right we are still what 8-9 years out for it?

I agree. The camaro was introduced in 1967, so even if they skip a few years the 45th anniversary is 2012. 45 years after the Camaro was introduced.

Where's the 2007 40th anniversary? I'm not trying to be an ass, but how can you continue celebrating anniversaries when there was a seven year divorce?

It doesn't matter to me one way or the other. I don't know if there's precedent for this, but has any other car that went out of production for a number of years and came back, then continue with anniversary models like nothing happened?

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but it's an honest question.

Debate.

No divorce. The fact is in 2012 it will have been 45 years.

So you are saying if I got a divorce - then after a couple of years I remarried my X, I would still have to count those years when I spoke of our 'Nth' anniversary?

Not disagreeing, just want to figure out which present to get.

SSN8R

Agree with all above 2012 is 45th.

OK, then I guess the 2010 Challenger should be a 40th anniversary model?

I don't know when it was first introduced, but if your math is correct then yes it would be the 40th anniversary since the car was introduced.
