Car Fishtails Hitting Second

I noticed a few days ago that on cold days at about 40 deg or lower that if I hit 2nd gear pretty hard my rear end actually loses some traction and will fishtail. Just noticed it the other day when coming off a light heading for the next light. Tried it again today in high 30s temp. Also noticed that in cold weather my tires wont actually make a chirp/screech sound like in the summer warmer weather. Running 19" PZeros. Anyone else try this? Mine is the man v6.

I think that's around the temperatures summer tires stop being effective.

42 degrees is the cutoff for these tires I believe as they are summer tires

lol, j/k yup its definitely a fun car, and does have some power, cold temps, reduced traction, higher power car being driven hard, that'll happen

I've got 20s, they really break loose below 40 deg, they don't screech much, even in the summer, I really don't like to "smoke em", I'd rather hookup and go.....but I do love it when they bust loose grabbing 2nd

I thought the v6 had all season tires.... I do know with the SS you have to be careful when temps get under 45, things can get a little "exciting" you might say, lol.

+1. I took off from a u-turn and ended up looking at the bumper in front of me the other day. No sound, just a cup ride at the amusement part feeling.

Gotta respect the horsepower and cool tires.

No V6 or not, if you have the RS or the 19s or 20s from the factory, we have the same tires the 'cool kids' have
