Power steering reservoir relocation
Any one do a mod moving the steering fluid reservoir off a 2010 or 2011 camaro? I have searched and saw some stuff where they dressed it up, but what about moving it to right next to the radiator or off to the side. What is required of this reservoir is it just a box with 2 ports and a vented cap? Would it be easy to just make my own?

I don't think it has a vented cap - but yes, it's basically a box with an inlet and an outlet.

I am moving my tank remotely and using a Lee's Power Steering tank with fins that helps cool the fluid. I am also using a Turn One Type two high performance PS pump. It's 6 ounces lighter than our stock pump. It has the AN fitting to connect your lines too. Before I went with the Turn One pump, I had the stock pump dissemble in order to mount machine the threading for the AN fittings. It's sitting on my shelf. I probably put it up for sale.

Question, did you connect the dirty side of your PCV system so it feeds directly into your intake?

In this pic I did not have the hose installed yet from the passenger side valve cover! I have one installed in the intake right now. For the automatic it kinda sucks to have to run a hose from the driver side rear valve cover to right behind the throttle body.

I have one, but have not decided where to put it. I think its dumb to "clean" the engine bay and then start putting things on! I kinda want to hide it to be honest.
What would it matter this is the normal piping for a L99 correct or am I mistaken? The whole PCV system and vacuum hoses kinda get me flustered so if I have something not right please tell me. |

If you read this at the very bottom the L99 automatic does not have this port in the valey plate. I went rounders in my head like did I miss something??? I have it piped the way a normal L99 would be, but yes an LS3 would not be piped in this way. By the way send me an answer to my message!!! |
