Am I the only one over protective about my investment.

My girlfriend thinks I am obsessed about my camaro, to the point where I park it way out of the way of other cars (really don't mine the walking), to the extent to where I see bird droppings or anything other foreign objects I end up popping the trunk and getting out a clean microfiber towel and some detail spray and telling her I'll catch up to you. Is it just me or do others have the same obsession.

I am the same way, I am willing to walk the distance because I am not willing to accept a dinged up car. However, I don't pull out a microfiber towel and detail spray and start cleaning it in the parking lot. I usually take it to a car wash or do it at home.

My camaro is being shipped today!!!!!

Car wash = bad. I'm the only one who washes my car.

Is this question really necessary?

I don't think there's a single person on this board that isn't totally anal about their car....

Other than the investment part, I'm pretty protective of my Camaro

Well to me anything you put a nice amount of money into in an investment, i.e. education, home, life insurance, automobiles.

I'm the same way about the bird poop... It doesn't take long to etch your paint.
I don't really park in never-never land, but I usually do a paranoid walk around before getting back in. No dings yet(since Nov 09).
