It feels a lot different than a stock SS. The key with the ZL1 is that will be able to put most of it to the ground...

Test drove a 580HP Callaway C5 Camaro two days ago. Pulls like a freight train. Very smooth and linear all the way to 6200 rpm when I let out. Tires did not have a chance of hooking up with traction control off. Needless to say I put my deposit down for a ZL1 immediatley with Mark McIntyre at Dimmit Chevrolet, my Brother from another Mother. Can't wait!!

It is a very cool feeling. I had a couple of chances to drive an SLP575 Camaro. It puts you back into your seat, there is a subtle whine from the engine and a roar from the exhaust. It makes passing another car a breeze and jumping onto an expressway a welcome experience. It puts a grin on your face that does not go away for hours after you get out of the car. It makes you get up at 3:00am to go look in your garage and stare at your car. It is a very cool feeling.

My brother's ACR Viper has 600hp and it will put you in your seat in a heartbeat. That much power is not for everyone. You need to respect it at all times.
