Really???????? What a lame comment, in my opinion. Yes, it could well have been a woman and on a cell phone, but it could have been anyone else too!!!

The real comment needed here should be as others have said, glad you and the other driver are ok, it could have been much, much worse for you both. Good luck with your next Camaro!!!

ya know, I've seen about a dozen pictures like this since I've been on this board.. heartbreaking all of them, but I believe there was only ONE that resulted in death, some hood running from the cops or something..Gotta give ya a warm fuzzy about this car's engineering and safety.
OP, Thank God you're OK...

This is so sad but it's good that you walked away fairly unharmed.
I don't know what I'd do if I lost my baby.

Sadly, the deal on the last remaining 2011 IOM 2SS/RS with polished wheels and NO sunroof in Canada appears to be falling through. The car is on a lot in Quebec (only about 30 days old no less) and my usual dealer appears to unsuccessful in getting it.

HOWEVER, I was offered an unbelievable price on a 2011 Inferno Orange Corvette. I'm a Camaro fan through and through...but I spent some serious seat time in a Corvette tonight and the gears are turning in my mind...Help! What do I do??

This is the potential candidate:

For whatever it's worth, my advice would be......

If you've never owned a Corvette and if you've found one at a truly "unbelievable" price.....go for the Corvette and see what it's like.

Drive it for a couple of years, and if you decide to go back to a Camaro, you can get yourself an "ultimate" Camaro.....either a ZL1 or Z28 (if one is finally made). Or, if you decide you like Corvettes better, get yourself a C7 or a used C6 Z06.

.....and as far as the SUV killing your Camaro while you were able to walk away with only bruises......wow....that is one SAFE car. Here's to the engineers .

Did you REALLY go there???
OP, I'm amazed you walked away with so few injuries - yay for fabulous Chevy safety!!! So sorry to see that, but happy you're ok and that you got that SS emblem for your toolbox! Don't forget to post pics when your new baby comes home.
