#230 a Bat out of Hell? (OPP's Spoke to soon.)

Ok since my frustrastion level has been high and GM had already read all the codes on the car I pulled the negative battery terminal. Let her sit for 30 minutes.

Replug in the cable and reset the window indexing time and all. Reved her up some and she sounded good. Well it is raining so can do do any 0-60 stuff but just started romping on her. OH MY, pushed back in my seat like I never have been with her. Traction control was coming on from dead stop, shift to second and shift to 3rd it came on.

GM wants a 0-60 run on her when it is dry later this week. I hope we have a pleasant surprise in store.

UPDATE: Took it out this morning 71 degress dry pavement and still bogs down off the line and no tire spin.

DANG DANG DANG

So all of that crap about a slow car just needed a PCM reset with the removal of the battery cable. Unreal.

Glad it looks like it is working out.

You just need to wire one of these in the car to reset your ECU every few days....

And it could very well have been my problem. I've been reporting that my car is running faster and if the iPhone is close to acurate then my car is right there. Scott, earlier today on the phone reminded me that when I first reported my car doing much better was RIGHT after my dyno, where they unplugged the battery.

I hope it works out for you Scott. I know you have been through a lot with this car. I would be really crazy if that fixed it after a full team of GM techs poured all over it and found nothing wrong with it.

Well I will finally get to see how mine acts tomorrow. I have been away from it for 36 days and I only drove it 30 miles before I had to leave. Basically I just picked it up, drove it home and had to leave. My wife has put over 500 miles on it while I was gone, so I guess I can try and get on it tomorrow.

Lets us know Dano!!

Man I hope that was it. I normally do not speed. But we have a stop light that I just happened to hit tonight. It has a sign that says 55MPH and then a little farther down 65MPH. I can normall hit right around 65-68 by the 55MPH sign. Off coarse it is raining but I punched it anyway when the light turned green. I was at 85 by the time I got to the 55 sign.

What, is the Camaro running Windows Vista, you rebooted it and now it works? Oh Wow! What gave you the idea of trying this?
