SLP ZL1 Drivetrain Stress

Is anyone else concerned that simply bolting on a supercharger, CAI and exhaust to bring it from 425 to 575 HP with a tune is probably gonna stress the rest of the drive train?

I know they are giving you 3/36 warranty, but seriously?

Will the engine/trans/torq tube/rear end stand up to this power?

I am almost ready to go in on one of these but just not feeling like this is really engineered..

Thoughts?

Pretty sure I read somewhere on here that the stock drive train can handle up to 600RWHP, or a bit more.

Well, even Lingenfelter has a similar set-up with no drivetrain modifications. I trust them, so if they aren't concerned with it, then I wouldn't be either. With street tires I wouldn't worry about it at all. If you start bolting on slicks, then I'd get concerned.

there is always a worry when you add more power. the main thing is the shock forces on the drivetrain. (basically dead hooking vs rolling start)

the rear axles have already been broken with stock power. there is an aftermarket solution available for ~$1800 that should hold up to anything you can throw at it.
