Are the factory stripes painted or stickers?
ok i was under the impression that the factory stripes, or dealer installed stripes or whatever were painted on ... i just read another thread somewhere about someones factory stripes bubbling up and someone who had a hard time waxing next to the crease line which means they had sticker stripes....
i ordered 2SS rjt with black stripes and i assumed they were painted on... i make fun of people with sticker stripes cuz it looks retarded and so damn ghetto.... now im starting to panic at 2AM cuz of hte possibility that my stripes woudl be stickers... please tell me they are not stickers and that when u order them from the factory that they are painted on |

alll stripes are vynil. Black ones are Flat black and dealer installed.
CGM and WHite stripes are factory installed if the car is a 2LT or a 2SS. All stripes are vynil. You could always get them painted  Dont panick, the flat black vynil stripes look great on RJT |

For about $1200 you can have the Rally stripes painted with new clear coat on them, no edge,no polish buildup and no polish scuffing "slight chance". IMO stickers belong on lunchboxes not cars!

The factory stripes are vinyl. But the white are glossy and the Cyber Grey ones have a metallic flake. They look great. The dealer installed black ones are flat black and look like a sticker. The factory ones look like paint.

I had a 2002 Harley Davidson F-150 gray w/ sticker flames on the side for 7 years and had no problems w/ peeling or fade. It was parked in the driveway uncovered. Ordered blkonblk 2SS/RS/6mn/gfx/silver rallies/pollished 20s
