Not before the 2011 model year and maybe not then. It wasn't high on the list of prioritys, most people would rather have a portable aftermarket navi. Factory navi actually hurts resale value in some cases. In my civic Si factory navi is $2000 option and a top of the line portable job is what $300.

Hopefully, never. They have "Turn By Turn" . GM should spend development dollars on the important improvements.

Didn't Ed Peper already say never on this topic like a month ago?

I hae been playing with the onstar turn by turn and it works GREAT, only thing that sucks is with the eNav it takes like a couple minutes to go through the voice prompts and then download the route. The ONLY thing you miss with this is that you dont have a cool little map screen on your dash, BFD. Instead you have the directions right in your line of sight which makes it easier to keep your eyes on the road, and you can speak to a LIVE PERSON any time, that can be priceless especially when if they are re-planning your route they have access to traffic info and can help you avoid it!

I like my portable unit. It can be easily and cheaply replaced when obsolete unlike the built in units. On Star doesn't show the roads around you or icons for gas, food, etc. I also like the ETA and miles to destination on the portable unit. However On Star is great for finding something for you in the direction you're heading. I've don't that for a Starbucks and a particular restaurant while traveling on I-95. The built in usually don't let you or a passenger use them while moving (safety enforced by lawyers) and the portables are a pain if you are alone.

Constructive post.

Anyway, I don't think we'll see navigation in the Camaro unless it becomes much much less expensive.

Do any current GM cars have both Onstar and a navigation system?

Yes and I know at least some (if not all) allow you to use all the onstar features including eNav, and calling the onstar rep to get directions on your nav unit instead of typing them in (as i mentioned earlier, useful because they can get real time traffic info).

Also keep in mind you can save 5 destinations in yahoo maps and send them to the car. No talking to an on star rep.

hit the on star phone button and say virtual assistant and pick your destination.

Used it to make a 300 mile trip and it worked very well. The phone prompts can get annoying but I think you can turn those off.
