LOL!! We can do most anything in-house, but it's the time I dont have for all the products, etc. REALLY need a good tech who wants to work in a clean, totally air conditioned shop and is willing to learn what I can share from over 35 years of this stuff.

Anyway, I had the pleasure of spending a few minutes talking to Jahme (sp) who is the head of development and design there for a few minutes and ask him some v6 questions. He said they tried to develop a kit for the V6 but ran in to the same problems that everyone else is having with the fueling (mainly the high pressure pumps) and they decided to scrap it and not develop one because of it. He also said that it was a shame because he felt the 3.6 is a better designed engine and has more potential than the V8 counter part.

After a few other passing questions he also mentioned that Bosch has been working with GM a bit recently to get the Leno car working (it's still not running as of right now) and that they still have not had luck with coming up with a valid solution for the fueling issue either & that if they can't do it, they're isn't much luck for us out there... :(

Anyway, just thought some of you guys might want to hear whats going on out there.

I will be meeting with Bosche and mr Leno next week to get more facts so we can finally resolve these annoying issues. My engineering dept will come up with solutions.

Nice. I'll be interested to hear what comes out of that. I'm thinking they may have figured it out. If you haven't heard, they're using a twin turbo'd V6 in the new Caddy. You can read about it here:

From what I had been reading from Tracey and Gretchen - it wasn't if, but when.
