$2k suspension budget - what to do??
New Owner, have questions
2011 SS/RS convertible just ordered set of 4 20 x10's with 275/40 on front and 315/35 on rear. I want to lower it and am concerned about possible body lean and understeer. Thinking about BC coilovers and ZL1 sway bars. Am I on the right track? Harsh ride of lowering springs is scaring me - this is a a Daily Driver but can I umprive the ride with other suspension mods instaed of coilovers? Open to suggestions/comments. Thanks |

a good start would be either the pfadt or pedders zl1 style sways...drive it for a bit..then go from there.
depending on if you do the wrenching yourself or if you're having a shop do it...your next bit would be coilovers or a bushing upgrade. But, if you're only concerned about lean and understeer, sways and a decent set of coilovers will suffice. keep in mind though, you get what you pay for with coilovers...trust me..i've been there. |

XAcoils and some cradle mounts first.... You can add the cheaper bars, rods and links as you adjust your handleing to the car.

Sweet! I am a Navy Diver. I work with EOD guys all the time. I am currently working at the Center for EOD and Diving. Basically it's Navy EOD and Divers first step in their schooling. Thanks for the support.
