Race Track's in Washington?

I was wondering if there are any track’s in Washington that will let you run your own vehicle on it? I’m not looking to do something where I’ll tear up my Camaro, but I wonder what 155mph in a safe setting feels like?

I wish there was a 'texas mile' like place around here - I haven't heard of one.

I think the only thing you can do on that track with out finding a club day is the drag strip.

there is also the south sound speedway down here in Tenino but I dont know if they allow street cars on it or not.

spokane Track

The spokane track is fun I have done it on my bike a couple of times. The local road race club does a couple of track days. 2 1/2 miles with lots of corners. used to have a long straight but I think they are changing the track so the straight won't be so long. All in all good track but you don't want to run off the track. last time I did it on my bike it was $150. for the day and I got in over a hundred miles don't think you would get that many in a car but maybe depends how many cars show up.

The more I hear about this, the more I think this would be a great place for some of us in the North West to get together. If we get enough we might be able to swing a deal.

Is there anybody in the Spokane area that has any connections to this group, or could swing by and talk to somebody in person?

it is not uncommon for a car club to reserve a time frame on a track and get discounts. volume = $$ to them. : P

Spokane Track

I can do some research then post what I find now is the right time to try to book it for some time next summer. I would think June or Sept so its not so hot or when ever people think they may be interested. The more people the cheaper the cost. I'll find out what their daily rates are and I may be able to get us break on the medical side. I know they require at least 2 EMT's standby for events.

That would be sweet. It's not like Spokane is a big drive for me, so if we get some folks together you can count me in.
