I actually bought an hid projector . Customizing the halo led rings.went with a Gattling gun shroud with oem housing. I just need tips on the oven baking process I have a guy that knows how to do wiring and a guy that knows how to paint real well. I've pulled apart my bumper before so the lens is what I need advice about

I will say to take your time. Hope you have the mini h1 projectors since all the others will require extensive modding to your reflector. Take your time when opening the lense. Even if it takes longer. Don't put it at too high heat for too long or things will melt

Take it nice and slow, put them back in the oven multiple times if you have to. Carefully pull back tabs holding lens when its warm or they will break. Once open, pull out the reflector while housing is still warm.
Personal opinion do not paint matte black, looks weird on a black car. if you're going to paint , paint them gloss black, makes em look tinted.

I was going to do black chrome but the housing ended up shiny black because I put too many coats and the shroud ended up very dark black chrome here's a few pics. I'm almost done. Ended up losing the little screw that keeps the light in place.

Actually I got them from a local shop. They had said that they were newer. The way they light up is extremely bright ill put up more pics when I get them completely wired up. There's actually an led also inside the projector.

having done it 3 times now, I can tell you that the best I came up with is 300 degrees for about 15 mins. It's going to be hot. Get a towel. Use a flat head screwdriver - pull all the tabs around the edge away because once they cool down you won't be able to bend them again without breaking them.

Use the screwdriver on a corner, and start working your way around the edge breaking the seal. You have to work fast because the adhesive starts getting cool quick. Start on one corner, and try to get your screwdriver under the lip of the plastic. so like go down as far as you can with it, then pull back and push it in, the "bottom of the U shape channel" you're going to distort this corner pretty well, but you can bend some of it back in place, and then when you fill it back with silicone, no worries. Once you get your screwdriver under the clear plastic, try prying up with it, if you can get your hand under that part you can pry the whole thing apart without messing up the rest of the light housing. If you still have the black adhesive, and it's not coming off easy, put it back in the oven for a bit.

Once it's all cleaned off, you're good to go.

Thanks for the helpful tips. I already finished them up but I think I should've done it a tad warmer. I did it at temp 225 for 10 mins. You definitely do have to work fast to pry the seal off. I broke one clip on each side other than that I was able to bend the housing back and get all the other clips locked in.I definitely know to do it again. It took me a quarter of the time to do the second lens. And it came out a lot cleaner. Just to be safe I sealed the inside and outside.
