Don't need 800 hp to beat it. But yes, a SC will do the trick.

I guess this video only deals with the manual transmission, how does it work on the autos?

Why would you WANT to do that. As long as youre only doing that to the ZL1 then thats fine:p don't ruin the car!!! Its perfect the way it is even if its slower than the 2013 Shelby on the strip, it'll sure as hell be a nicer car and Id rather have that than straight line speed !!

Mode 5: Specifically for prep'd track and DRs!!!

Roma says "he knows what people will do with these cars and he hopes they go out and do it."
So I assume he means that if something breaks and there is burnt rubber all in the fender wells that all is still cool...no problem. So I am also NOW lead to believe that if someone with a regular SS car breaks and there is rubber all in the wheel wells then all is still cool. And....if a v6 breaks and rubber is imbedded in the wells all is still cool. So from his own words there is now NO excuse why a warranty SHOULD NOT be covered simply because burnt rubber is found in the fenders. Now..from Roma's own words recorded on video we ALL have proof that will stand up in a court of law that GM Must stand behind any warranty with a car that has been smoking the tires. I advise any and all to download this video and keep it for your records if ever needed to prove your case that we have been encouraged to drive our cars aggressively WITHOUT repercussion of a voided warranty.

Since I'm a manual - type person, I can see myself in mode 2 or 3 as a daily driver, mode 4 for more spirited driving (safely with no traffic interference or at the track), and mode 5 for (give me everything the car has to offer.)

And of course mode 1 for wet/rainy times (safety of others always comes first).

Edit: My budget has changed and I will not be able to purchase a ZL1 but, I may be able to trade up to the 2013 with the 1LE Performance Package(hopefully). Those of you getting the ZL1, enjoy your ride as Bonemaro stated: "It's the ultimate driving machine hands down".

It's the ultimate driving machine hands down. If ever there were a car made for everything a human could want Chevrolet has given it to us. Yes i do envy those that can pull it off, and buy one; i for one cannot. But i will enjoy each and every story that comes from this car.
