I don't think they are inferring that cars will be vandalized, but about showing some respect...your car may have "some" domestic parts but don't kid yourself the profits go elsewhere

Too bad my wife still doesn't have her "Chevy Prizm" AKA, Toyota Corolla

I may not have my Camaro by then, and have to drive the Camry. This sure isn't respectful if you allow Fords and such. GM has been involved with Toyota on other cars in the past. But it would be ok if I drove a Chevy Prizm, even though it is a Toyota Corolla.

Seriously, I thought that kind of ignorant thinking was only done here in the US.

Hylton......if the Sept 25th date holds it looks like both Gary and I will be able to attend. Looking forward to it. We are also looking at coming up to Rideau Carleton again this Wednesday (Sept 2nd). Let me know........

I read earlier on this thread that the event possibly could be moved into October? Well if that happened, I will probably have my new Camaro to drive there from Montreal. My best buddy lives in Ontario and just restored his 65 Chevelle convertible so I promised to drive my 2010 Camaro TO Toronto before the summer ends if I get my new Camaro before snow hits.

If the event were moved, I would cedrtainly be there. I am working on a letter of appreciation to the fellow Canadians in Oshawa that are building the 2010 Camaro to show my appreciation of thier efforts! I am a long time Camaro owner and have had a heavy Camaro-heart since I sold my 1975 Camaro a few weeks ago to lay a deposit down on a new 2010. I have been in Camaro withdrawal all summer driving season long and ONLY able to drive my wife's Honda Fit! It's a fine little car, but ain't nothing like my old Camaro (or soon to be new Camaro)

It would be funny if I went to the event AS my 2LT Summit White 2010 Camaro was actually ON the production line at the time!? If I could only sneak a peek! Please delay the date if at all possible!
