participated threads

Just a quick question about participated threads.

On my tapatalk app, I have the ability to quickly see what threads I have participated in, or made comments in, in addition to seeing unread threads.

Is there a way to see what threads I have participated in on the website??

I mean, I can go under user CP and see if threads that I have subscribed to have been commented on. But that isn't what I'm talking about here.

Is there a way to add some sort of "participated threads" sub category within the user CP on the website?

Not the posts themselves, but the actual threads that those posts are in. As in a sub category in the user CP that would show a list of the threads that I've most recently commented in.

Often times I comment in threads, but I don't necessarily want to subscribe to those threads. BUT, I'm interested in seeing later if anyone responded to my post. If I go through tapatalk, I can easily see what threads I commented in. But on the website, I have to hunt for those threads, and often can't find them later because I just didn't want to, or just forgot to hit "subscribe".

Send a message via MSN to DGthe3
You can use the advanced search to find threads containing a post you've made, then display the results as threads. There is an option to limit the results to certain dates (since yesterday, within the last 2 weeks, more than 6 months ago, etc)

But generally speaking, this is the same function as thread subscriptions. You can set automatic subscriptions to send either no e-mail notifications, instant, daily, or weekly. On top of that, you can set subscription options for specific threads under advanced posting options (for example, if default is instant you can set that particular thread to no notification). Lastly, though I doubt this applies to you but it is something that might as well be mentioned, you can subscribe to a thread without posting by clicking on 'thread tools' at the top of the page.

To Echo what DG just said w/ pics.

I find the best way is to set to "no e-mail notification" and it will auto subscribe to every thread I post in.

Size: 31.0 KB

Then use Quick Links... subscribed threads instead of UserCP

You might like that display better.

Awesome, thanks for that. That seems like it'll work.

That's pretty much the way I operate.
