Need Advise after cam install

Installed cam/valve springs/ push rods (Texas Speed and Performance package) went good, car started right up, good oil pressure. Drove car 140 miles to get my dyno tune _after a few adjustments on the tune car turns over but wont start. Tried factory tune and same thing no start- shop and I believe timing off, but checked all fuzes -good, good fuel pressure, has spark, no displays have came up for anti theft. Brought car to dealer for possible ecu reflash, they say ecu is good no problems with reading-no codes-advised maybe jumped timing need to remove front cover for inspection. wrecked car back to my place, removed valve cover all looks good, pulled off front cover and timing marks lined up correct(cam at 6 and crank at 12 #1 tdc). Im stumped now on what to look into next any help would be nice.

Datalog while cranking the car make sure it is reading Cam and Crank position sensors. Also, check injector PW to see that it is trying to fire the injectors.

What program was the tuner using to reprogram the ecu? It is a possibility that he bricked the ECU. I have seen bricked ECUs "seam" to function but they were not actually firing the injectors...

how many times did you try to turn it over? which cam timing gear did you use? i used the incorrect timing gear the first time around and had starting issues...sometimes it would start up the first time. but generally by default on the 3rd try. just something to think about.

I have not done the relearn procedure, about to look that up....During the different items that we checked tried to start a good 50 times and always sounds like timing is off

It's likely collapsed and not pumping back up. On another thread CFD had the same thing happen, but in his case, the roller came off of the lifter.

Cant see one lifter preventing the car from starting. Very strange that it started and ran until the tune was touched. Keep us posted. I am curious what the issue could be.

Removed timing cover and found dowel pin on cam broke and allowed cam to get of time, which made pistons hit valves since not operating properly. So now heads get fixed and have to install new cam(3 bolt) and fix pistons or replace and new timing chain set. Lesson learned on cam never go with single bolt cam........
