Even more sad that a 470 hp car comes with 245s talking about a smoke show lol. Idk what they are thinking with such small tires on high hp cars. One thing GM has done right is wider tires.

Wow... Your 392 came with 245's !?.... Both my 6.1's came with 255 rears/ 245 fronts, not that it matters much....lol

I'll say this last year he did pull going through 2 and pulled away in 3rd...he has the brembo package...with airaide cai and borla exhaust. From a dig I would get the jump...like I said he would be pulling past by 3rd. It pulled a lot harder when it wasn't. I jump on it when I'm by myself just to see if I can avoid it....so out of 10 runs, I can feel lit slowing the car down 6 or 7 times out of 10. I really didn't notice it last year ..I've since installed shorty headers and the vmax throttlebody. That may make the afm more noticeable under hard throttle. The 373 gears in the mustang really are a tough act go get moving.

What I do on roll races is I put the trans in manual mode and select the starting gear that I want. Once you go WOT tap the shifter back into D and let the trans do the work. The L99 is pretty slow from a roll if you start into a overdrive gear and make it kick down. There is just too much delay.

Yes from Dodge lol. My old 07 charger srt8 had 255s

Are you not tuned? That's the first thing i did to my L99 and it made a world of difference. And thats why i went 3.31s easy to get moving out the hole with good tires. And for what i do its killer combo for roll racing.

no im not tuned yet....my warranty is up soon so i will be doing it. Ive read how the tune helps the l99 . Im looking forward to seeing how it runs with my mods after the tune.

Yeah the tune was the best mod for me. I loved pulling on the ls3 guys with the L99 lol

My Friend has an L99 with cai, x-pipe exhaust and dyno tune.. same dyno same night he put down 360 with mods to my 381 stock.... We took it to the track and I consistently trap 3 mph more than him... He would get the better 60 foot time , but I was almost a full 1/10 faster

Idk mine trapped 111-12 mph with the tune and cai. I did the cat deletes really could tell it helped the car though. I loved slow rolls or dig runs in that car. Top end wasn't to bad in it though.
