Small things you don't like/would change on your Camaro

So after a while owning my Camaro (2SS European manual version) there are small things that I didn't expect and, just curious if you had the same "problem"

Here are mine:
  • When I'm using boots, if I put my left foot on the foot holder (don't know the exact name) and I try then to hit the clutch, my boot gets stuck when lifting the foot because the space is just too small.
  • No auto rain detection
  • No back windshield wiper (again I'm sorry about my english don't know the correct terms)
  • Automatic headlights turn on too late (when on tunnels)
  • No light dimming mirror on passenger side.
  • No automatic folding mirrors
  • No shift lift / alert
  • No front parking sensors
  • Cannot turn off TA (Traffic alert / Transit alert)
  • No heating at the same time for windshield and face

These are the ones that I most miss on daily driving.

Be aware that I'm saying that I shouldn't have bought the camaro, I love the car and would buy it again! These are just small things that would make me love even more my car.

What's yours?

All of those you have listed there are standard on all the VWs we currently have. I didn't really buy the Camaro for the bells and whistles, but I understand what you're getting at.

1) Mirrors don't fold in at ALL, let alone doing it automatically.
2) Mirrors don't auto dim or defrost.
3) C pillar doesn't let me see very well backing up or making certain turns.
4) It doesn't have a stock front splitter.
5) It's not fast enough. Need more cowbell.
6) Benjamins don't come flying out of the HVAC system.
7) My seat ate my vaporizer. Maybe that was a sign to quit.
8) People automatically think I'm rich and that I can afford to buy their things too.
9) Mud flaps from GM could've at least been paint-color matched.
10) No LED light for the back license plate.
11) No LEDS for front turn signals.
12) Paint quality is average
13) No room to put all my things in the door (speed pass, hand sanitizer, misc other goodies)
14) Not fast enough. Need double cowbell. At least.

But none of this matters to me (other than having MOAR POWAH!). The car is already so damn cool. It even got me just a warning when the officer liked my car, saw that I lived in his 'vacation' area, despite doing 23 over the speed limit, with no seat belt, with no front plate.

I love this car!

PS, your english is better than some of my american friends. But remember, you go IN tunnels, not ON tunnels.

More power from the factory! The less electronic crap these cars have the better. They are already heavy.

Maybe I didn't express myself clearly. I mean Stuff that you expected that the car had.
Like for example, not being able to turn off AT from mylink.

More power.. you already know what you're buying... I really meant small things that would not take camaro off it's league

I guess I'm lucky that my mirrors defrost/dim and fold!!! lol

Every car I've ever had, the automatic mirrors button to switch from left to right there has always been a middle section so that the button sits 50/50 but the camaro does not have this middle section

Folding mirros would be nice and front parking sensors. My other car has front and back and it is great!. Also having the shifter shift the gears (A6) instead of the buttons on the wheel. Other than that I am very happy with Jeanie.

It's not an Audi S5, sorry.

These are the tradeoffs that come with buying a $35k USD American Muscle car.

Yep, you can find some of these features in less expensive cars. To my knowledge, you cannot find 323hp or even 426hp in those less expensive cars. I'd rather have an engine that goes fast versus lights, wipers, mirrors that do things by themselves.

- Lighting on the homelink buttons like my Tahoe has (I finally fixed myself)
- Sunroof to close all the way automatically, again like my Tahoe does
- Bluetooth for music that actually works without hassle, oddly enough phone calls are fine
- Day time running lights AND fog lights, again like the Tahoe, personally, I think a single engineer at GM had this really bad idea...fail

Fog lights really aren't needed with HIDs. My HIDs light up the side of the road and cut through fog way better than the fog lights on my old car ever did. A non-RS car still has the fog lights and DRLs separate.

I wish the audio controls on the wheel were on the left hand side
