Info on this HID KIT?

came across this HID kit on the phastek performance site, seems legit and all that good stuff.. was wondering if any of ya`ll might have some info on the kit or might have the kit installed on your own vehicle with pics, etc... Also, I have a 2012 2LT ( NON - RS ).

i`m looking to get dual color halos and the hid kit this week, either going to go with this kit or aac oracles hid kit, if i can gain a little positive info on this hero kit through phastek, i might go with that bc of the difference in price... well any help would be appreciated.

link to the kit:

thanks,

JP

I can't attest to anything relating to the kit other than the color looks pretty bad-ass... I really dig that.

Do not put HIDs in a halogen housing. It's illegal, dangerous, and rude to other drivers.

You should look into a proper projector housing, like RS lights or eagle eyes.

Just a suggestion: Install Eagle Eyes and an HID kit from The Retrofit Source - I purchased the H13 Bi-Xenon kit with H9 Bulbs (you have to request it from them it is not listed on the site this way). You retain the hi/low beam functionality with this setup as the Eagle Eye housings are set up with a hi beam solenoid - works beautifully and you have legal housings as the Eagle Eyes are projectors.

I appreciate all the replies and knowledge, i've done the research and also have seen plenty of the halogen casings with an hid kit installed and there has been no damage etc... I've recently purchased oracle dual color halos ( red & white ) and I was going to add the HID kit to go along with it all to complete my headlights...

Does anyone have the HID kit with stock oem casings along with the oracle halos installed in the headlights? I would like to see pictures, possibly write-ups, let me know.

thanks

I installed some in my dads truck last month and no one has flashed me. I was even behind 2 cops the other night and it didn't bother them.

Awesome, sounds good.. I`ll be looking forward to the pictures man, I appreciate your help... Hopefully you can take some with the kit working at full blast, I know you mentioned that they became DIM every here and there because of how your DRL's are setup... Thanks again.

That doesn't make it legal...

You probably put very blue or purple in.
