Moving to Coast. How often to Wash?
Come August I am moving to the coast for college. My school will be right on the water and the apartments that from what I believe have no type of car port there, so the car will be enduring the elements pretty much all the time. I'm just wondering how often I should wash my car to keep the salt from effecting anything.
Also, I doubt there will be a place at the college for me to hand wash my car, so should I drive home every so often to do that, or find a Courtesy car wash in the town. Or possibly even wash it using a cheap car wash just to get the salt off, if I need to wash it often. Any advice would be nice really. |

I grew up in Corpus Christi. Washed the car often but also used the power wash to get under the car and general purpose removal of crude. Most coastal cities have a power wash that does the undercarriage also....find one....it's your Friend!
