rear vinyl blackout

hello i own a 2010 camaro and i heard that the 2010s have holes behind the chevy bowtie
so am wondering if i can just put a vinyl on top of it and nothing will happen ?
and i have a rally yellow so what do you guys think gloss like my stripes or flat ?

I got that kit also, you should go with the one that matches your Rally Stripes. It flows better that way.

but i was wondering if its ok to put the vinyl on top of the bowtie hole left behind
because im planning on removing it and adding just the black out with no bowtie and i was wondering if thats no problem

If you just put vinyl on the back it will start to have small dips where the holes are.

What I did was orderd the slp ss badge kit and painted them flat black and lined them to go over the holes to kinda hide the little dips or you can just paint the botie to mach it would look good also imo

I had a local sign company install mine. You would definitely see some dimples where the holes are as other have said above. I was adding SS emblems anyway, so I wasn't worried about them. The emblem covers perfectly.

no way to hide the dimples unless you put something over it. I chose the retro SS.

Only the early production cars have the holes behind the bowtie. Depending on when your car was built it may not have the holes which would let your plan work fine. Pull the trunk lid liner under the trunk lid down and see if you can see the alignment holes. You might luck out.
