Humm funny my g8 is very fast from 20-120. And keeps pulling to 150+ no problem. Pulse I can put a strip club full of girls in the back!

FYI to all the camaro guys...g8 and camaro are very close to same car underneath. When I park my g8 and ss next to each other they are pretty much the same length.

Yeah....same zeta platform, similar weight, and while the GT is down 40 hp to the L99 and therefore a bit slower, the G8 GXP will move on out.... ....or so it would seem, until said G8 has the misfortune of lining up against a 5 year old g35, that is. You see, with its stump-pulling 268 lb·ft of torque, the G35 is better equipped to race F15 E's as they are catapulted off of the decks of aircraft carriers, rather than puny domestic V8's. The poor G8 driver might just as well throw his car into reverse and mash the gas pedal, as the end result would be the same in any race with a G35. I know if I ever see a G35 at a stoplight in my G8....I'll just get out of my car and run. I'll leave the keys beyond and everything. <shiver> |

The g8 isn't a fourth the car of a g35. That's why the number is so much lower.

Link? Sausage link? D-link?
I can tell u stock for stock my gxp was faster than my ss. I think it just hooked up better. There are some guys with very low 10 second g8s. Don't bite more than u can chew from basically the same car. Someone with a cam a Maggie and custom tune/full exhaust will walk on ur 500 hp. |
