Hey everybody...

I took my car into my dealership (Gunn Chevrolet) and had the PDIM software update done. They've done 5 or 6 Camaros now, so they've got it down. Mine worked flawlessly, and afterwards I was able to confirm that I have the latest software version (SW ID: CE).

I'm pleased, because the radio now remembers what source input I was listening to last, so it no longer defaults to my thumb drive in the USB port. I'm not sure what other benefits there are to the upgrade, but I understand there are some Bluetooth A2DP profile enhancements, so connecting your cell phones for streaming audio may be easier / more reliable.

While the car was in, I also had the TSB work done to eliminate the "rice krispies" gurgling sound I was hearing upon acceleration. Have not heard it since, so it looks like that took care of it! Perma-grin is back!

Bottom line: If you're in San Antonio and want to get these updates done, Gunn Chevrolet is doing a nice job with them!

Nope...they did not charge me for the PDIM update or the TSB work. I assume both are covered under warranty. It never even came up.
